Synthetic sapphire is a single crystal form of corundum, Al2O3, also known as alpha-alumina. As an important crystal for technical use, sapphire has been widely applied for science technology, national defense and civil industry. Sapphire has a good thermal property, excellent electrical characteristics, dielectric property, good chemical corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, good heat conduction, high hardness, infrared transmission and good chemical stability. Therefore, it is often been used to replace other optical materials to fabricate optical element, infrared transmitting optical window plate, and widely used in infrared and far infrared military equipment, such a night-vision infrared and far infrared sighting telescope, night-vision camera and other devices, instruments and gauges in satellite and space technology, window for superpower laser, all kinds of optical prisms, optical windows, UV,IR windows and lens, viewports in low temperature experiment, high precision instrument in navigation, aviation and aerospace industries, etc.
We provide sapphire window with excellent optical performance and those windows can be customized in different shapes like round, square, and irregular. Sapphire window dimension ranging from 2.0mm-400mm and window with holes is also available for us.
